Bryggeri- og drikkevareforeningen er medlem i de internasjonale bransjeorganisasjonene Brewers of Europe og UNESDA (Union of European Beverages Association).
I mange land er det felles organiasasjoner for bryggerier og produsenter av alkoholfrie drikkevarer, ettersom mange bedrifter produserer begge deler. Mange, bl.a. foreningene i Norge, Danmark, Sverige og Finland er derfor medlem både av UNESDA og Brewers of Europe. I andre land er det to ulike organisasjoner.
